Community

Built beyond
clothing.

A part of Kief exists beyond the garment — directed outward, into the land and communities that make it possible.

Impact

30%

of all profits from our first cycle are directed entirely into the Kumbuk tree planting initiative — no split, no delay.

Every piece from Cycle 01 is a direct contribution to restoring native forest across Sri Lanka.

This is not just clothing.
It is a process extended into the land around it.

Cycle One Kief Community Initiative

01

1,000 Kumbuk trees — planted across Sri Lanka

Kumbuk — a native conservation species, planted across Sri Lanka as part of a long-term reforestation effort on government-protected land. A quiet, permanent act of restoration that grows with every cycle.

Why it matters

Kumbuk trees are native to Sri Lanka's riverbanks and forests — slow-growing, deep-rooted, and vital to the ecosystems they anchor.

Planting them on government-protected conservation land means they are safeguarded. This is permanence, not gesture.

Approach

We begin with 1,000 trees in Cycle 01. Each subsequent cycle adds to that number — 3,000 by Cycle 02, 5,000 by Cycle 03.

Rooted in Sri Lanka, growing with every release.
